A tourist visa is issued for holidays, sightseeing, culture and personal travel. It does not grant the right to work or long-term residence; it covers a stay for tourism purposes within a defined period.

The United States has a visa process applied for through the DS-160 form and a consular interview for tourism (B2) and business (B1) travel.
