This Cookie Policy explains, in line with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and the Personal Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines on Cookie Practices, which cookies are used on the Vize.Plus website, for what purposes, and how you can manage them.
1. What Is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are used to operate the site, remember your preferences, ensure security and — only with your consent — to analyse site usage.
2. Cookies We Use
We keep our use of cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.
- Strictly necessary (technical) cookies: required for the site to function — session, security, load balancing, remembering your language choice and your cookie preference. These are exempt from consent and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics / performance cookies (optional): help us understand how the site is used in aggregate. These are not strictly necessary, so they are loaded only after you give consent and remain off by default.
3. Consent and the Cookie Banner
Optional (analytics) cookies are loaded only if you give explicit consent. On your first visit, our cookie banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or Manage preferences with equally clear options; optional categories are off by default. Strictly necessary cookies are not subject to consent and are only notified. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time as easily as you gave it.
4. Information vs. Consent
Informing you (this Policy) and obtaining your consent (the banner) are two separate processes. This Policy explains all cookies; consent for optional cookies is collected separately through the banner. Reading this Policy does not by itself constitute consent.
5. Third-Party and International Transfers
If an analytics tool whose servers are located abroad is used, the related cookie data may be transferred abroad within the framework of Article 9 of the KVKK; in that case it is loaded only with your consent. We do not share cookie data for advertising purposes.
6. Managing Cookies from Your Browser
Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can delete or block cookies, or be warned before a cookie is set, from your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site may not work properly. You can find management/deletion steps in the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. You can also withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” option.
7. Your Rights
Your rights regarding personal data processed via cookies are set out in Article 11 of the KVKK; please see our KVKK Privacy Notice and exercise them through the channels stated there.
This text is an informational draft; the final legal content will be finalised with the Company / its legal counsel.
